Anne Markiewicz and Associates (ABN:56 086 832 028) - An Australian consultancy firm established in 1997 by Anne Markiewicz.
 
Our work includes the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems and the conduct of evaluations in human service and social development contexts. We have extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation systems design, evaluation methodologies, data collection and anlaysis and reporting. We also deliver professional training and undertake stakeholder consultations including workshop design and facilitation. Anne Markiewicz and Associates is conversant with a broad range of monitoring and evaluation strategies and methods, both qualitative and quantitative.

Anne Markiewicz and Associates received the Australasian Evaluation Society Indigenous Evaluation Award in 2008. This award was received together with the Department of Finance and Deregulation, Office of Evaluation and Audit (Indigenous Programs), for their evaluation of FaCSIA Family Violence Programs for Australian Aboriginal communities. AES Awards Committee's comments were:

"The Awards judges regarded this as an excellent example of evaluation in the Indigenous evaluation sector. The approach involved defensible modelling, the development of a structured analytical framework, was culturally sensitive and actively engaged Indigenous and remote communities whilst delivering an effective evaluation project in a short timeframe. ...... The overall report was an exemplary piece of communication, clearly structured and laid out, in Plain English and accessible to a wide range of audiences."

Based in Melbourne, the firm has been engaged as a project manager or team member in projects in Australia and the UK.
